The company turns into the most important group thanks to the fullness of the offered range of boats Solemar, a leading company in the sector of large composite boats with a wide range of cabin and open cruisers, joined the Arimar group, which is leader for the manufacturing of inflatable products and the distribution of electronic instruments, as well as components for professional and leisure marine market. Solemar was founded in the 80s and it is well-known in the sector as it was the first company that devoted itself to the manufacturing of cabin cruisers. Therefore, Solemar completes the offer of the group, which now becomes the most significant group in Europe as for its production range, including boats up to 17 m. Solemar's boats are manufactured with forefront technical solutions; they are characterised by high comfort and habitability standards, which are typical of yachts, together with the seaworthiness of high-performance boats that are safe in all sea conditions. 'No company in the world boasts such a wide range of cabin cruisers as Solemar' declares Pietro Francisconi, Arimar's President, 'and we have long felt the need to meet the increasing demand of the market for bigger boats. In the last months, we have worked hard to introduce new products of the Cruiser line at the International Boat Show in Genoa such as the new 26, the unique cruiser of this size that is equipped with a roomy cabin with bathroom. Moreover, we launch the 44 Oceanic, the new 13 metres that starts a new top range line, which is going to develop in the next years.' From the point of view of organisation and logistic streamlining, Solemar's offices and departments were transferred to Montaletto di Cervia (RA), Italy, at the group's headquarters.
