Solemar, passion for style.

Solemar was founded in the 1980s, thanks to the willingness to combine innovation, intuition and entrepreneurship. The idea to offer large composite boats to the market went very much against the tide back then, because everyone in the sector was sure these types of boats would amount to nothing. A trailblazer in the nautical sector, Solemar was the first Italian company to focus on the production of cabin cruisers, and it quickly became the undisputed leader both in Italy and abroad. The highlights of the company's history include the production of the first 10-meter cabin cruiser in the world in 1989, and the production of the first 7.5-meter cabin boat in 1990.

Solemar´s boats are characterized by their high standards of liveability and comfort - features found only on yachts - combined with the seaworthiness of high-performance boats which are safe in all seagoing conditions. Other elegant and original features that are unique to Solemar boats are the fiberglass stemhead and roll bar, as well as the ¨Panna Exclusive Solemar¨ cream colour of our products. Our wide product range - including the line of open-style boats which was presented in 1996 - meets the demands of all pleasure boat enthusiasts, thanks to the great attention to detail throughout our craftsman-like production process and thanks to the use of the best materials on the market.

In the year 2007, Solemar became part of the Arimar group, a leader in the production of inflatable products and in the sale of electronic instrumentation and components for both the pleasure and professional boating sectors. Solemar widens the group´s range of products, thus making Arimar the company which can offer the broadest and most complete product range in Europe. In order to optimize the logistical organization of the group, the Solemar offices and departments were transferred to Montaletto di Cervia (in the municipality of Ravenna), where the MED group is based. In the year 2014, Solemar presented its new Oceanic line at the 54th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show. The new 26-28-32 Oceanic models feature an internal walkway to reach the bow, and the new 35 Oceanic is characterized by a modern and elegant design.
